Academics
GPA requirement of at least 2.5, converted to match the educational system of Ghana
Applicants must be newly admitted as a first year student in a Public University or Vocational Institution
Should have graduated High School or equivalents within the last 5 years
Should have gained admission to a Public University or Vocational Institution
Qualifying degrees are Bachelors, Associates, HND, and Vocational certificate
Should not be a fee-paying student
Must be in good standing with the law of country the individual resides in
Must present a 6 month rolling bank statement to prove accuracy of income reported
Volunteer
Must have Personal Projects outside their homes
Home activities may count excluding House Chores
Participation in Social Clubs
Leadership Attributes
Previously held Leadership roles
Service Attributes
Student who qualify for Scholarship will be obligated to
Recipients must participate in a form of community service
Recipients must partake in Training materials that inspire leadership, service and patriotic attributes
Recipients must participate in the mentorship program for two years
Recipients should within a semester, pick a field of study
If Recipient is dropped from field of study, scholarship would be revoked and they would have to reapply for scholarship
If Recipient dropped out of school for whatever reasons, they automatically drop out of scholarship and would have to reapply for scholarship.
When reapplying, previous recipients are required to provide a letter from the College Dean explaining why they dropped out
When reapplying, previous recipients should also include WASSCE and tertiary transcripts
There would be an annual review of the viability of scholarship recipients
Extensions outside the time frame would only be approved based on discretion of the Board
